Due to potential extreme loads from hurricanes and wave action, this beachfront high-rise required a stiff lateral load resisting system. A sophisticated post tension slab system was used on all floors. The asymmetric building steps back to the seventeen floors and is supported on Franki piles. A parking level exists in the basement.
