Richard Donald PE is founding principal of RSD Engineering PC, an award winning structural engineering firm in New York City. Richard Donald is licensed in 6 states and has over 35 years of specialized experience in the analysis and design of commercial , educational and residential high rise buildings and special structures for both the private and public sector. Mr. Donald also brings extensive experience in major noteworthy façade replacements and building rehabilitations.
With over 50 plus years of structural design experience of tall structures, Dr. Banavalkar has earned a national reputation as a leading authority in the structural design of highrise buildings, especially projects located in high seismic regions. Ten of his buildings are listed in "100 of the World's Tallest Buildings" published in 1998 by the Council of Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat. He was named by Engineering News Record among the "Men Who Made Marks" in 1986 and 1989. Dr. Banavalkar is a fellow of American Society of Civil Engineers and in 2008 was the recipient of Lifetime Achievement Award from American Institute of Steel Construction. He is also the recipient of the prestigious Fazlur Khan Lifetime Achievement Medal given to structural engineers that have mastered the art and science of high-rise building design.
Mr. Bellace has over 35 years of structural engineering experience in the design of projects in a wide variety of diversified industries. His experience includes the structural design of industrial, institutional, commercial, multi-family residential, parking garages, public works, marine and aviation projects. More specifically, Mr. Bellace has experience in the design of warehouses, schools, retail centers, office buildings, apartments, police stations, pump stations, wastewater plants, aircraft hangars, docks, bulkheads, and tunnels. His experience in structural systems includes the design of low-rise, mid-rise, and high-rise buildings and/or facilities constructed of either concrete, structural steel, wood, or timber. Over the latter part of his career, Mr. Bellace has focused on the structural design and construction of all types of residential buildings.
Vimal has over 20 years of experience in the design of a wide variety of structures including commercial, government and educational buildings; hotels; and parking structures. A graduate of Rice University, Vimal wrote his Master's degree thesis on seismic pressures on underground tanks. His experience includes the forensic analysis of damage to buildings during earthquakes. Key projects include Cira Centre in Philadelphia, Chase Headquarters in San Francisco, the California EPA Headquarters in Sacramento, 1500 Louisiana in Houston, and Cy-Fair College Campus in Houston.
